Are you passionate about storytelling? Have you ever wanted to learn how cartoons are made? Art for Animation is the class for you!

This course is intended for students who are passionate about visual storytelling and want to learn about the animation pre-production pipeline. Students will develop storyboards, concept art, character designs, and eventually an animatic for their own individual projects, while also receiving an introduction to traditional 2D animation techniques.​

This class meets MONDAYS 7-9 PM. Students will have weekly homework assignments that culminate in the completion of a personal animated storytelling project.

In order to apply for Art for Animation, please complete the Google Form below! Alongside answering a few short answer questions, you will be asked to create a drawing based on one of 3 prompts. Please apply even if you have no prior drawing experience! This class is completely no experience necessary and will accept students of all skill levels!
