This course introduces students to the basics of dental and oral health, emphasizing the link between good oral hygiene and overall well-being. Topics include preventive care, dental procedures, oral diseases, new dental technology, and an overview of different dental specialties. The course also covers the dental school application process, but students do not need to be pre-dental to join.

There are no traditional exams. Instead, students will complete short reflection papers, join group discussions, and take part in interactive activities like case studies and problem-based learning. Attendance is required since much of the learning happens in class.
