The Future of Healthcare DeCal connects students with different healthcare professionals each week. From MDs to hospital administrators, user experience designers, tech company VPs, A.I. developers, and many more industry thought leaders. Get potential internships and research experience. Create a powerful professional network in a few weeks that would otherwise take years to develop.

This course will primarily be a speaker series, with speakers discussing topics such as 3D printing, medical devices, blockchain, telemedicine, etc. Following these talks, opportunities for questions and networking will be available for interested students. A final project is comprised of a business idea pitch to speakers at the end of the course.

Weekly attendance is mandatory and students are expected to actively engage in discussions. Students will be expected to present a final project at the end of the course, consisting of a business proposal to improve some aspect of the healthcare system using the information they learned from the class.
