Students will be educated in pleasure anatomy, safer sex methods, kink topics, sexual
pleasure techniques, communication, LGBTQ+ sex, sex with disabilities, and other
topics surrounding the sexual human body. These topics are intended to educate
anyone and everyone on the pleasure aspects of the sexual body, and are selected with
the intention to give an overview of the multiple complexities surrounding sex. This
course is designed to be a safe space for judgment-free education and discussion for
students to engage in
Students will be responsible for attending class and participating actively in discussions.
Failure to do so will result in an NP. Attendance will be taken every class, so show up!
Students are allowed up to 2 absences - any more will result in an NP. 2 tardies will be
considered one absence. A tardy is defined as arriving more than five minutes after
Berkeley time to section. If you know you need to miss a class, please let us know at
least one week in advance
Weekly readings, 2 papers, and a final group project are required.
