Hello cinema lovers! In this class, we'll look at several South Indian Movie industries- specifically the industries of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema. Each week, we will learn about, discuss, and watch a different historical or contemporary film, and through that, gain a deeper knowledge of South Indian Cinema. No previous knowledge is required, and all films will include English subtitles. Meetings are weekly on Wednesdays at 6pm, and grading is based on attendance and a final project.
