Are you trying to navigate life as a premed at Cal? Do you want to connect with physicians, learn about the MCAT, or explore careers in medicine? If so, consider joining the PreMed 101 DeCal this semester!

In this in-person, 1-unit, P/NP DeCal, we will discuss four-year plans, the MCAT, medical specialties and degrees, application timelines, and more. The majority of classes will feature presentations from guest speakers who work in a wide range of medical specialties, and they're eager to share their paths to medicine and current experiences in their careers! The course's facilitators will mentor you during your time in PreMed 101 and beyond. PreMed 101 will be offered from 6:30-8:00 PM on Tuesdays in person to teach you all things premed!

Attendance is mandatory and you will complete a few assignments throughout the semester. There are no quizzes or exams!

You will receive upper division units for the course, but this DeCal is entry-level and is intended for students of all years, including first-semester freshmen! FIRST CLASS IS SEPTEMBER 10TH!
