Welcome to Breaking Down BioEngineering!
This is an introductory course to Bioengineering, open to everyone interested in learning more about bioengineering at Berkeley. Through class discussions, speakers, panels, and literature review, we will explore the 4 bioengineering concentrations at UC Berkeley -- Biomedical Devices, Biomedical Imaging, Cell & Tissue Engineering, and Synthetic and Computational Biology. In addition to BioE-related content, students will develop other skills such as resume building, interview tips, and cold emailing. Our final project will be a group project presenting a paper about a BioE topic you're interested in.
The goal of the course is to make students feel comfortable with bioengineering topics in an open, discussion-driven environment.
No prior knowledge is needed!
