About the Course

The UC Berkeley Undergraduate Graphics Group (UCBUGG) is a passionate group of students who want to introduce our fellow peers to the art of creating a 3D-animated short film. By offering both a basic and advanced curriculum, this DeCal guides students of all skill levels through the animation production pipeline, using software tools like Autodesk Maya, Adobe After Effects, and Pixar's Renderman. How to Enroll

Students must attend an infosession (Tuesday 9/3 OR Friday 9/6 from 7-9pm Soda 330). At the info session, we will provide all details required for submitting an application. Applications are due the Saturday and Wednesday after your respective info session (2 days before the first day of your chosen class section), and we will notify you via email if you have been accepted. In order to keep updated on details, please join the 3DMA discord (https://discord.gg/fXbn5sDk), where we will post updates and answer questions regarding UCBUGG.
