This will be a two credit course aimed at informing students how they can do as much good as possible with their careers, especially within economics and related fields. The course combines practical lessons from economics with theoretical concepts from the philosophy of ethics in order to equip students with skills that can help them identify and work toward solving some of the world’s most pressing problems. Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, 3-4pm in CORY 289 starting Monday, January 22. Interested students should attend class and enroll!
Grading: Pass/No Pass
Weekly Assignments: Weekly reading and bCourses "quizzes" (34% grade)
One Project: Group presentation OR EA Club project (33% grade)
Attendance: Mandatory (33% grade)
