This class serves as an introduction to how to analyze, research, and change public policy. Students will be allowed to pick a social issue topic of their choosing and spend the semester exploring it. This will include identifying the relevant policies and jurisdictions that affect it, researching potential policy solutions and alternatives, planning advocacy campaigns, drafting policy memos, and writing sample policies.
