As AI becomes increasingly woven into the daily fabric of our lives, there is a greater need for understanding how it will affect the world we share. We hope that by exploring various economic, social, and ethical challenges facing AI in an interactive format, we can spark a conversation that reaches across disciplines to find solutions.

Classes will take the form of a 15 min. reading quiz, 60 min. lecture, and 45 min. activity and discussion. There will be 4 two-page writing assignments but one can be dropped. You have one free absence but get another by doing all 4 writing assignments. Grading will be 40% quizzes and 60% writing assignments (weighted equally).
